مضمون؛ پاکستان کے قومی دن کی تقریب
پاکستان ایسوسی ایشن آف نیوزی لینڈ (پانز) کے طرف سے 23 مارچ، یوم پاکستان کے قومی دن کی تقریب 27 مارچ 2021 کو آکلینڈ میں منائی گئی۔
کوویڈ 19 وبا نے مارچ 2020 کے بعد سے تقریبات کا انعقاد مشکل بنا دیا تھا۔ آکلینڈ، نیوزی لینڈ میں کوویڈ 19 الرٹ کی سطح 1 کی تعمیل کے لئے رواں سال 23 مارچ کی تقریب کے لئے ایک محدود اجتماع کا انتظام کیا گیا تھا۔ اس تقریب میں 250 سے زائد افراد جن میں بچوں اور دیگر نسلی برادری کے رہنماؤں، پارلیمنٹ کے ممبران، اور سرکاری عہدیداروں سمیت پاکستانی برادری شامل تھے۔
پروگرام کا آغاز تلاوت قرآن پاک اور نعتِ رسول (ص) سے ہوا۔ پاکستان اور نیوزی لینڈ کے پرچم کشائی دونوں ممالک کے قومی ترانے کے ساتھ ہوئی۔ پاکستانی بچوں نے پاکستان اور نیوزی لینڈ کے قومی ترانے پیش کیے۔
پروگرام کے میزبان محترم محمد ارشد اور محترمہ عائشہ کوثر نے پروگرام کا 23 مارچ اور قرادِ پاکستان کی اہمیت اور مقاصد سے آغاز کیا۔
تقریب کے اسٹیج کو سبز اور سفید رنگوں کے ساتھ پاکستان پرچم تھیم کے ساتھ خوبصورتی سے سجایا گیا تھا۔ 3D اسکرینوں اور گرافکس نے پنڈال کی پیش کشوں اور ماحول کو بڑھاوا دیا۔
اس پروگرام میں پاکستانی بچوں اور نوجوانوں نے اپنے رنگین پاکستانی تنظیموں میں جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ حصہ لیا۔ بچوں اور نوجوانوں نے تقاریر کیں اور پاکستانی ثقافت اور ورثے کے کینوس پر اسکیٹس پیش کیا، خاص طور پر 23 مارچ 1940 کو لاہور میں پیش کی جانے والی قرارداد پاکستان کے مقاصد کو روشناس کیا گیا۔
پانز نے 6-11 سال اور 12 تا 13 سال عمر کے پاکستانی بچوں کو تعلیم ل، کھیلوں اور غیر نصابی سرگرمیوں میں نمایاں کارکردگی پر اسٹار ایوارڈز دیئے۔ اسٹار ایوارڈز وصول کنندہ عبد اللہ شاہ پانز اسپورٹس اسٹار تھے۔ اشلن سورانی پانز رائزنگ اسٹار۔ باریہ باتول پانز اکیڈمک اسٹار۔ اور رمین جعفری پانز اسٹار منتخب ہئے۔ رکن پارلیمنٹ اور نیوزی لینڈ کے وزیر برائے ٹرانسپورٹ جناب مائیکل ووڈ نے بچوں کو اسٹار ایوارڈز دیئے۔
اس موقع ہر نئی منتخب ہونے والے پانز ایگزیکٹو کونسل کے ممبران نے پانز عہدیداران کی حیثیت سے اپنے کردار ادا کرنے کے لئے حلف لیا۔
پینز کے صدر مسٹر نوید حامد نے حاضرین کو بتایا کہ پاکستان کی تشکیل ایک قرارداد کے ذریعے ہوئی تھی جسے 23 مارچ 1940 کو لاہور میں پیش کیا گیا تھا۔ مسٹر نوید نے اپنی تقریر میں کہا، “پاکستان دنیا کا واحد ملک ہے جس کی بنیاد نظریہ اسلام پر وجود میں آیا ہے۔”
وزیر جناب مائیکل ووڈ نے کوڈ – 19 کے درمیان ایونٹ کے انعقاد پر پانز اور پاکستان کی برادری کو مبارکباد پیش کی۔
وزیر اور ممبر پارلیمنٹ مائیکل ووڈ، ممبر پارلیمنٹ میلیسا لی، صدر بھارتیہ سماج جناب جیت سچ دیو، صدر نیپالی کلچر سوسائٹی جناب کمال شریشھا، صدر سپریم سکھ سوسائٹی، جناب عمران حسین سی ای او اپنا 990، اتھنک آفس کی محترمہ نندیتا ماتھر۔ کمیونٹیز، مسٹر نائجل براؤن اور آکلینڈ اور نیوزی لینڈ کے دیگر حصوں سے تعلق رکھنے والی دیگر کمیونٹی کے مختلف رہنماؤں نے اس پروگرام میں شرکت کی۔

Pakistan National Day Celebrations
Pakistan Association of New Zealand (PANZ) held 23 March, Pakistan National Day celebrations in Auckland on 27 March 2021.
Covid-19 pandemic had made it difficult to organise events since March 2020. A limited gathering arrangement were made for this year’s 23 March event in order to comply with Covid-19 alert level 1 in Auckland, New Zealand. Over 250 people including Pakistani families with children, members and leaders of other ethnic communities, members of parliament, and government officials attended the event.
The programme began with Quran recitation, and Nat E Rasool (PBUH). Flag hosting of Pakistan and New Zealand flags took place with the national anthems of both countries. Pakistani children performed national anthems of Pakistan and New Zealand.
The programme hosts Mrs Ayesha Kausar and Mr Muhammad Arshad provide an overview and purpose of the programme.
The venue was beautifully decorated with Pakistan flag theme with green and white colours on the stage. 3D screens and graphics enhanced the presentations and ambiance of the venue.
Pakistani children and youth participated in their colourful Pakistani outfits in the event with a passion. Children and youth delivered speeches and performed skits on the canvas of Pakistani culture and heritage particularly depicting history in relation to Pakistan resolution presented on 23 March 1940 in Lahore.
PANZ gave Star Awards to Pakistani children of 6-11 years and 12-13 years ages for their outstanding performance in education, sports, and extracurricular activities. The Star Awards recipients were Abdullah Shah, PANZ Sports Star; Ashlyn Surani, PANZ Rising Star; Bariyah Batool, PANZ Academic Star; and Rameen Jaffery, PANZ Star. Hon Michael Wood, Member of Parliament and Minister for Transport of New Zealand; Mr. Imraan Hussein CEO Apna TV; Mr. Karamjeet Singh of Sikh Superme Society; and Mr. Naveed Hamid President PANZ gave Star Awards to the children.
Newly elected PANZ Executive Council and Advisory Board members took oath in order to assume their roles as PANZ office bearers.
PANZ President Mr Naveed Hamid told the audience that the creation of Pakistan was through a resolution which was presented on 23 March 1940 in Lahore. “Pakistan is the only country on the globe which came into existence constitutionally”, Mr Naveed stated in his speech.
Hon Minister Michael Wood congratulated PANZ and Pakistan community for organising the event amidst tough Covid-19 times.
Hon Minister and Member of Parliament Michael Wood, Member of Parliament Melissa Lee, President Bhartia Samaj Mr Jeet Sachdev, President Nepalese Culture Society Mr Kamal Shrestha, President Supreme Sikh Society, Mr Imraan Hussein CEO Apna 990, Ms Nandita Mathur of the Office of Ethnic Communities, and various community leaders of other communities from Auckland and other parts of New Zealand attended the event.
