Over the years Pakistan Association of New Zealand (PANZ) has had many initiatives that involve the community and wider communities at large. To have an Urdu Language Class for the immediate community has been a prolonged dream that became a reality this year. Geographically the community members have settled in different regions in New Zealand therefore, the Pakistan Association of New Zealand (PANZ) had organized a free Urdu Language School (Online) in the year 2021-2022.

All teachers are members of the community with teaching qualifications, current teachers in NZ, and purely volunteers who dedicated their time and efforts to this project which makes it a success. The classes are held on the weekends and are taught on different academic levels which are Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. The Classes are divided into three categories these are Speaking, Writing, and Reading. All are based on NZ schooling terms and they also sit exams to determine their next level of study. Graduates will be based on level of achievements and other relevant award categories to motivate current students and encourage participation for those interested to enroll in future classes.

Pakistan Association of NZ (PANZ) could potentially be looking at opening the enrollment to wider communities to collaborate on cultural standards and learning, and it is a work in progress.
