2nd PANZ Community Service Awards 2022

Respected Community Members,
PANZ is now inviting nominations for 2nd PANZ Community Service Awards 2022. These awards are presented annually to those community members who have demonstrated a dedication to the community service or have contributed in improving the lives of others with their outstanding contribution and performance or have exceptionally performed in their respective fields bringing a good repute to the Pakistani community and Pakistan.
This is an opportunity and time for you to recognise these outstanding performers of our community across New Zealand. We request you to nominate a person who deserves recognition for their
exceptional work.
The Award Categories are;
*Community Service Award*
*Business of the Year Award*
*Student of the year Award* (two categories for junior and senior students)
*Outstanding Professional Award*
*Sportsperson of the Year Award*
*Youth Leadership Award*
*Women Leadership Award*
*Friends of Pakistan Award*
*Lifetime Achievement Award*
*Important Criteria*
Nominees will be announced on PANZ social media platforms. Community members are invited and encouraged to support their preferred candidates on with their comments and likes. These comments and likes will be given due consideration and weight in selecting the finalists. This however is not the criteria.
Individuals will be assessed on merit and on their performance in comparison with other nominees.
Criteria for the performance will include but not limited to, consistency, recognition by their relevant entities, individual contribution and professional excellence and bringing repute to the Pakistan and Pakistani community.
*Important Submission Requirements: *
1- All nominations must be submitted on the Nomination Form. The form link can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/PANZNZ/Community-award
2- Only fully completed forms will be accepted
3- Self-nomination will not be considered.
5- Nominations will only be for Pakistani origin Residents living in New Zealand, except for the “Friends of Pakistan” category.
6. Nominees must submit their profile for posting on PANZ social media for community information and transparency.
7. PANZ officials are not eligible for nominations and awards. PANZ officials include 3 members of the Advisory Board and 5 members of the Executive Council.
*The nominations are open now and the last date of nomination is ‪5 PM on the 4th of February 2022. The Committee will review the nominations and will award a winner for the nominated category.*
The award ceremony will be held ‪on
Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 6.00 pm.
